The temple is one of the important attractions of Varanasi. It is built of white marble & the construction work in Shikhara Style was completed in 1964, by a Varanasi family. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ram and verses & the pictures depicting the stories from the famous epic Ram Charit Manas, written by Goswami Tulsidas in 16th century are inscribed on the walls of the temple. It has a simple but impressive design. Many people believed that Ram Charit Manas was written by Tulsidas at this site. Models with electronically fitted devices display in motion various important events as described in Ram Charit Manas & also those of Krishna Leela on the first floor of the temple, Known as ‘Ram-Krishna Leela garden’.
