Gurudwara Gurubagh is dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev, who visited Varanasi in 16th century during Shivratri fair. He is supposed to have had a great deal of interaction with many Brahmin scholars & Sadhus. The gurudwara has a wide rectangular hall with a sanctum and also has staying facilities for the visitors. The present building was inaugurated on 23rd Nov. 1969, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Guru Nanak’s birth. Sabad-Kirtans are organized on various Parvs (festivals) of Sikh Gurus.
