Situated on the sangam (confluence) of Tons (Tamasa) and Manjusha river in Durwasa village, of Azamgarh district, U.P. at a distance of about 40 km from Azamgarh 110 km from Varanasi, 6 km north of Phulpur, can be accessed via Azamgarh-Varanasi-Phulpur-Durvasa road
The place is famous for the Ashram of Durvasa (son of Anusuiya), where in ancient times students from all over used to come to gain knowledge. Apart from the Ashram, Shiva temple & some other temples are also there within the premises. Temple opens from 4am to midnight and is looked after by a trust. Special days- Mondays, Tuesdays & Saturdays. A fair is held every year on the occasion of Kartik Purnima & Shivratri. Shravan month & Malmass are also celebrated here when a large number of devotees gather here.
