The temple is dedicated to Raja Suheldev (a local King) and is known as Raja Suheldev Darbar. A temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, is also built within the premises of this temple. A Tal (Lake), named Chittura Lake is located adjacent to this temple. This land was considered very sacred by the saints & a great deal of spirituality is also attributed to it.
