This Jain temple is located adjacent to another Jain Temple, viz., Digamber Jain temple. Sravasti is considered one of the most important & popular holy places of Jains. The third Tirthankar Sambhavnath was born here and it was here that he attained the ultimate light of knowledge through meditation. This temple belongs to the Swetamber sect of Jains. Jain devotees visit Sravasti on Kartik Purnima (Oct.-Nov.) to celebrate the birthday of Lord Sambhavnath. Vaishakh Shudhi Chat (falls in Suklapaksha) is also celebrated here.
