Iftikhar Khan was one of the officers, during the regime of Jahangir (1605-27). The Mausoleum built in 1605, is one of the finest exhibits of Mughal Architecture and is built of Chunar sandstone. Inscriptions found over the well here support the information about this place. The Mausoleum has a semi-circular central dome with a lotus on its top along with four minarets. The tomb is decorated with a chain of high arch windows and stone lattice in the front. The Shape of the mausoleum is squarish and enclosed with a boundary wall. Earlier the monument was decorated with a beautiful garden but now that has been destroyed. .
