This ancient temple of Goddess Durga is housed in a natural Cave. The idol has been shifted from the cave to a newly constructed temple here. This place was discovered by A. Cunningham, the famous Archaeologist in 1883-84. Stone carvings of Gupta period, engraved on the walls of the cave, are of considerable antiquity. This temple also finds its description in Puranas. The boundary wall of the temple is damaged and could not be renovated because of the dispute between the temple authorities & Archaeological Department of Government of India.
