The temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman is located on Sultanpur-Azamgarh road (SH-34) at a distance of about 60 km from Sultanpur, 121 km from Ayodhya. The temple opens from sunrise to sunset. Tuesdays & Saturdays are considered auspicious. It is believed that when Lord Hanuman was going to Himalaya to bring the Sanjeevani Booti to cure Laxman, he was intercepted by the Ravan’s man named Kalnemi demon. He was ultimately killed by Lord Hanuman here. Makari Kund, Hatyaharan Pond and Lord Hanuman temple are worth seeing. Rainbasera & a satsang Bhawan is also located near the temple. Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated here in a big way.
