Shravan Kshetra is located on the bank of River Tons (Tamasa), which is formed by the confluence of River Madaha & River Bisuhi. The place is located at a distance of about 58 km from Ayodhya in Ambedkar Nagar district U.P., India and can be accessed by road via- Faizabad-Akbarpur road (SH-5) up to Annava & then via Annava-Pantipur raod (about 3 km). It is believed that this is the place where Shravan Kumar died by the arrows shot by king Dashrath of Ayodhya. His parents died of their grief at this place only. One can see the idols of Shravan Kumar & his parents at the bank of River Tons. A two days fair is held here on full moon day of Aghan (Hindi) month.
