The temple & adjoining buildings were constructed in 1947 by Mohanlal Kejariwal. The building is also known as Nepali Kothi. Earlier it was known as Sita-Ram Var Vivah Kunj but later on it was converted into a trust known as Janaki Mahal Trust, which looks after the whole affairs. Presently apart from the main temple over all there are five temples of Ram Janaki, Shiva, Hanuman, Shri Ganesha & Ram Lala. Ram-Sita Vivah Mahotasav, Ramnavami, Shravan Jhula festivals are celebrated here. Devotional songs are sung here for 24hours.
