Nepali Temple or Shivkoti or Shivkuti
This temple is one of the very important Shiva temples of the city located near the bank of River Ganges in the Shivkoti area of Allahabad, U.P. The temple also known as Shiv Kachehri, was constructed by a Nepali King Rana Jung Bahadur in 1825. He had 306 queens & each one of them established a Shivlinga here, but now only 280 Shivling exist. People from far flung areas come here on Shivratri day to worship Lord Shiva. Presently the temple is not well maintained & needs immediate attention.
