This is an old shrine dedicated to Bhairon Baba, also known as Deotari. It is believed that Bhairon Nathji is one of the many forms of Shiva. According to one mythological belief, Parvati exhumed herself in the pyre of Daksha's (her father) yagya. After that Shiva disrupted the Yagya, while some other believes it as a gateway to the ancient city of Ayodhya. A fair is held here on Dushehra (Jyestha month) and on every full moon day (Purnima). Tuesdays & Sundays are considered special days, when people visit the place in large numbers.
