Varanasi

Kaal Bhairav means black terror. He is believed to be the Kotwal of Varanasi and everybody is supposed to need his permission to stay in Kashi (Varanasi). The temple is dedicated to one of the terrifying forms of Lord Shiva.


Kabir Math (Kabir Chaura) of Varanasi is the original seat of Kabir and the global hub as well as the headquarter of Kabirpanth, the world wide sect of the great saint Kabir.


In India, almost all the rivers are polluted by the adjoining urban settlements. Industrial growth & continuous rapid increase in population has further aggravated this pollution problem. The River Ganges, though considered the most sacred, is one of the worst affected.


This math is located at 37/170, Birodpur, Mahmoorganj locality of Varanasi, U.P., at a distance of about 3.5 km from Cantt. railway station. A Lord Shiva temple is located inside the math which opens from 5am-10pm and on Shivratri day devotees gather here in large number to pay homage & perform special puja.


This ashram is located in Ranipur, near Manduadih railway station, about 4 km from Varanasi, U.P. Cantt. railway station. The ashram opens from 5am-9:30pm (phone-+91-9451816000) and houses a Lord Shiva temple, where Mahashivratri is celebrated in a big way. A hospital is also run by the math.


The ashram is located in the Durgakund locality of Varanasi, U.P. at a distance of about 4 km from Cantt. railway station. The ashram was started by Hariharananda Saraswati popularly known as Karpatri Swami.
