Varanasi

Adikeshav temple is dedicated to one of the many forms of Lord Vishnu. His idol is installed here as Sangameshwar Linga and by worshipping here one is supposed to get salvation.


This temple is located near Bibi Razia Mosque, in Adi Vishwanath locality, Varanasi, U.P. & is dedicated to Lord Shiva. A Majestic Shivling is installed in the sanctum.


The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to be the place where Saint Agastya used to worship Lord Shiva in his ashram. Hence, the Shivling is known as Agastyeshwar Ling.


Baba Aghoreshwar was born in 1937 in a village called Gundi in Bhojpur district, Bihar. He was inclined towards spirituality from early childhood and at the age of nine years he came to Kashi (1946-1949)..


Baba Keenaram, one of the founders of Aghora Sect, was born in 1658 AD at Ramgarh village, in Varanasi district, U.P. He is supposed to be the incarnation of Lord Shiva. His Samadhi (Krimkund) is located here and is one of the most visited sites of the city. Keenaram Asthal is a spiritual centre & the headquarter of Aghora sect.. .


The mosque also known as 'Beni Madhav Ka Darera', is located at Panch Ganga Ghat, on the banks of the River Ganges Varanasi, U.P., India, at a distance of 6 km from Cantt. railway station. It was built by Aurengzeb. This is a fine example of amalgamated Hindu-Mughal style of Architecture. .
