The temple is dedicated to Goddess Andri. It is believed that Bharadwaj Rishi prayed for Devi Andri to safeguard the meditation of Durwasa Rishi from miscreants. The temple is managed by Andri Devi Dham Samiti. A shelter has been constructed near the temple for the visitors. Newly constructed Shiva Temple (nearby) has also become the attraction point for the devotees. Monday is special day for puja and Navratri period is considered auspicious when a number of devotees visit the temple.
