This is one of the important Hanuman temples in Allahabad. This old temple houses a south facing Hanuman idol. Earlier there was a Shivling installed in the temple which was later replaced by Lord Hanuman’s idol. The present temple was constructed in 1787 and renovated in 1940-41. Ram, Laxman, Sita, Radha Krishna, Durga, Shivling, Nandi, Ganesha and Navgrah are also enshrined in the temple.
