Once known as Mayo Memorial Hall, It has a very attractive building built in 1879 with red bricks. Its foundation was laid down by the then Viceroy Lord Linden and designed by R. Roskel Byan & Prof. Gambel, to commemorate the memory of Lord Mayo. His bust (made of marble) has been installed here. Nearby a hall is used for debates, lectures & performing dramas etc. The building is equipped with a minerate of 180 feet which attracts the visitors from a distance. In its early period 17 legislative council meetings were held in the building. Now the premise is being used as a Sports Complex, having almost all types of sports facilities. Indoor games up to national levels are organized here.
