Parmanand-Ashram

Parmanand Ashram is located near NER Railway line in New Jhunsi and is about 11 km from Allahabad railway station. Baba Ganga Giri Ji, the founder of the ashram, was the resident of Sindh. After 1857, the first freedom movement of India, he adopted sainthood & started living here in a small hut. Later on the building of the ashram was constructed under the supervision of Swami Parmanandji. A Sanskrit Degree College and Laxmi Narayan temple are located within the premises of the ashram.
