Mirzapur-Vindhyachal

Ashtabhuja Temple, located on the northern most part of the hillock, is the third tangent of Vindhyachal Trikon Parikrama (circumambulation of the divine triangle).


This ashram is located at the place called Badhan Chuwan, Sukrit at a distance of about 15 km from Ahraura, 29 km from Robertsganj, 66 km from Mirzapur city in the district of the same name.


It is believed that the sister (who later came to be known as Bhandari Devi) of King Karnpal Singh, after her brother's death started to live here.


This temple is also dedicated to Bhairav and is one the main Bhairav Temples located in the vicinity of Vindhyachal area around Vindhyavasini Temple. Bhairavs are the guards of Vindhyavasini.


Chuna Dari, located near Lakhania Dari, is approached by a very rough road. The height of this beautiful waterfall is about 165 feet.


Chunar Fort situated on the bank of River Ganges at a height of 80-175 feet from the ground level & is spread over 34000 sq.feet, is the prime attraction of Chunar town.
