Festivals & fairs that continue to occupy the whole year are an important hallmark of Ayodhya.

The fair site is located at a distance of about 3 km from bus stand of Ballia city, U.P., India. The fair is held here annually starting from Kartik Purnima (Nov. month) in the honour of Dadar Muni, the disciple of Rishi Bhrigu.

The chief place of interest in Bahraich is the Mausoleum of Saiyyad Salar Masaud, who was the son of Salar Sahu and the nephew of Mahmud of Ghani.

Siddhpeetha of Devi Patan is situated in the tarai region of Himalaya and is one of the 51 Shaktipeetha and also one of the most significant Shaktipeetha in the region. The temple is situated on the road leading to Chaudharidih from Tulsipur at a short distance, in the west of Tulsipur.

This place is located on the right bank of River Gomti on Sultanpur-Jaunpur road (NH-56), about 32 km south east of Sultanpur city & 85 km from Ayodhya, 8 km from Lohramau, 8 km from Kadipur.

The famous shrine of Guru Gorakhnath, of undoubted antiquity, epitomizes the identity of the Gorakhpur city, since the city has been named after Mahayogi Guru Gorakshnath.
